Juno
Beach Florida is a quiet oceanfront community tucked
neatly between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway
north of West Palm Beach.
The area's first native inhabitants arrived in 500 B.C. with European
contact occuring with Spanish exploration and settlement in 1500's.
Offshore lie Spanish wrecks dating from late 1500's to early 1600's
and the area is world reknowned for the finding of precious artifacts.
Today, luxury oceanfront estates, condominiums and businesses
provide an ideal setting for vaction or permanent residence in
Juno Beach. Incorporated in 1953, the town's activities include
the Jupiter Theatre, golf courses, tennis courts, county parks,
shopping centers, art galleries, sunbathing, swimming, fishing
(fishermen love our 960-foot-long fishing pier), jogging and bicycling
on our oceanfront bike path. The Marinelife Museum of Juno Beach
is located in Loggerhead Park. From May to September each year,
guides from the Marinelife Center introduce newcomers to turtle
watching as the sea turtles return laying their eggs, with an
average of 1000 turtles nesting per beachfront mile!
